"Right man, you be cool," said Kat-Daddy. "Can't afford to have nothing happen to you. You know insurance companies don’t pay enough for niggas nowadays."

They both shared a laugh as Pappy was getting into his 600 Benz. He and Kat-Daddy had discussed a few business ventures and a couple of other interests. But mainly Pappy had come out to the diner to have his routine threesome with the twins Amanda and Kerry, Kat-Daddy's baddest hoes.

Pappy put the car in reverse and rolled down his window. "Hey, Kat, make sure you have some strippers on call for that Playa's Ball I'm throwing next weekend, a’ight?"

"No problem," said Kat-Daddy, "you know I'ma have the best hoes up in there."

"Okay. I'll holla at you later then," said Pappy as he pulled out the lot.

He turned onto the off-road that would lead him to the turn-pike to get on I-70 west. He looked up and saw that he was damn near out of gas. "Damn," he muttered. He never allowed his gas hand to even go under a quarter tank, let alone being on empty. That bitch Lamika must have used the car yesterday without filling up the tank. He made a mental note to kick her ass when he got home. He spotted a gas station right off the on-ramp to I-70 and headed over to fill his tank up. As he was pulling into the parking lot he noticed a green Mustang with someone sitting in it that he thought he recognized. Once he looked a little harder he knew exactly who it was. It was Jay Juice, ex-member of the MS 21 and the main one behind this war going on over his own city. Pappy reached for his .50-cal Desert Eagle and began to drop his window when he noticed that a Jackson County Sheriff’s patrol car was turning into the lot. He looked over at Juice just standing next to his car, appearing to be waiting on someone to come out of the gas station. Pappy pulled up to the gas pump adjacent to the one where Juice was at and cut off his car. He knew he couldn't make a move with this Sheriff around, so he just sat inside his car—behind five-percent tinted windows—and watched his opportunity to get revenge pull out of the lot.

"This is some bull-ass-shit!" was all he could say.
